BlockTV is a venture by singulariteam VC, headed by Moshe Hogeg. This is a TV channel broadcasting 24/7 on subjects related to Blockchain and Crypto.

As part of this role, responsibilities covered the specification of the technological solutions, the creation of tender, the negotiations with vendors and the actual built of the entire ecosystem, including the operations

MX1 - VP engineering                                                         2016 - 2018

 

MX1 is a newly established company which represents the outcome from a merger between SPS (SES Platform services) and RRMedia. MX1 is now the leading provider of media delivery’ management and distribution in the world. MX1 is distributing over 3000 channels around the globe.

As the VP of engineering, I am responsible for the on-going operations and the planning and execution of new services that require emerging technologies such as UHD, advanced OTT etc.

 

 

  

Amdocs - Head of Video solutions                                         2015 – 2016

 

Built and headed the line of business related to the provisioning of BSS and OSS solutions to Telco’s and cable/satellite service providers. Specifically focusing on video related products. Within this capacity lead the assessment of merging technologies and solutions that might be integrated into Amdocs portfolio. This activity was highly coupled with the innovation center of AT&T.

Major achievement was a multi millions implementation of OSS/BSS related to the acquisition of Direct-TV by AT&T.

CTIO - Keshet Broadcasting

Built and managed 9 departments and an overall of approx. 100 employees within Technological division, providing Web, IT, Infrastructure, Engineering and hardware/software services to the company.  

• Lead the Pre-launch, the actual launch and the on-going development of "Mako", Keshet's portal and new-media division.

• Responsible for the engineering and technological infrastructures of the organization:

  • Long term strategic planning

  • Budget and operational planning

  • Technical design

  • Vendors and contractors management

  • On-going maintenance, development and operations.

• Managed the implementation of billing systems at leading telecommunication companies. As part of this capacity, assumed responsibility for :

  • Pre-sell and contract negotiation

  • Solution design and development

  • Ongoing support and maintenance activities, coordination between customer needs and the professional development teams.

  • Managing the customer account within budget restrictions
